Meet Chuck
Chuck Russell is the President of Cornerstone Technical Solutions LLC. Chuck has had a successful automotive career spanning three companies, leadership in multiple functions, and leading people on four continents. Functional assignments included Program/Product Management, Product Development, Supply Chain Operations, Quality, Manufacturing Product Launch, Business Development, and M&A. Chuck has had the opportunity to compliment his wide functional background with global positions that gave him direct and indirect opportunities to interface and lead team members from Eastern and Western Europe, Asia, and Latin America. He was an expatriate in China (5 years) and South Korea (3.5 years) and has developed a keen sense for cross cultural collaboration. He has been able to hone his engineering and management skills and take those learnings into senior executive and C-Suite positions in two automotive start-up companies.

Chuck utilized his multi-functional background to lead Executive Program Teams launching new products for two auto manufacturers. His work in program/product management is extensive. He has successfully launched internal combustion and electric propulsion vehicle projects across the globe for two OEMs. Projects under his leadership ranged from $100M to $650M USD cap ex and budget (engineering, components, facilities) with revenue exceeding $6B. Chuck has been accountable for full life-cycle product line profitability, product launch, post-launch quality remediation, product updates, and cost reduction efforts.

Mr. Russell has also utilized his broad background and skill set to re-engineer company-wide vehicle development processes, benchmark and implement industry leading product safety processes, develop and lead product cost reduction initiatives, transform global functional supply chain quality operations, lead successful joint venture negotiations in China, provide consult and operational leadership for a CEO, and assess M&A opportunities.

He is on two charitable Boards, focused on paying forward for children. He is the Treasurer and Board member for the Children’s Craniofacial Association and is a Board member for Football for Peace USA.
Meet Madelaine
Madelaine Russell is Executive Vice President of Cornerstone and has an extensive background in Human Resource Management and Training and Development. She has honed her HR management and organizational development background with MacLean Fogg, an automotive Tier 1 supplier and Kelly Services, a global staffing and resource company. Madelaine is bilingual, fluent in both Spanish and English which enables her to span across cultures and languages.

Madelaine has managed most HR functions during her career. She has led HR management functions including employee benefits, compensation, recruitment and hiring, employee and employer relations, labor relations, growth/succession planning, and HR policy formulation for a manufacturing division of MacLean Fogg.

Her Organizational Development (OD) skills are extensive. With a Masters Degree in Training and Development, concentrating in OD and Leadership, she was able to able to significantly improve the processes to recruit and on-board employees. She was able to reduce the overall integration timeline from 6 months to 3 months. At Kelly Services, Madelaine managed one of the largest accounts, focusing on onboarding processes, regulatory compliance and payroll for 1,800 people across the United States. She was directly responsible for developing and delivering the required software training needed by the associates to be successful in their new positions.
